In tribute to the late Harry Yee of the Hawaiian Village Hotel in Waikiki, we're enjoying his classic Tropical Itch, circa 1957 (recipe from Beachbum Berry's Intoxica and Remixed). Most famous for pioneering the paper parasol garnish (and the iconic Blue Hawaii cocktail), Yee should also be remembered for this enduring classic and it's unique backscratcher garnish. A spinoff called the Backscratcher has become an icon of its own for 50 years at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort in Orlando.
