ITEM: You are bidding on an original, vintage medium format 120 camera film negative photograph taken by Bunny Yeager in 1962 backstage at the Miami Area Artist's and Model's Ball of model Bonnie Carroll, who also modeled as Nani Maka, seen here wearing a sexy bunny costume awaiting her turn on the catwalk! The Ball was hosted by Milton Berle with Yeager supplying a few of the Bunny Honeys. This was really a spectacular event. Bunny was the belle of the ball and appeared in no less than three lavish costumes. The theme of the ball that year was space exploration which made for quite a few over the top costumed pin-up models. Oh to have been a fly in a fruitbowl there!!

Yeager’s body of work includes over five decades of spectacular and compelling celebrations of female beauty. Her work was both groundbreaking and technically brilliant; one of the only female photographers working in the pin-up and nude genres. Yeager captured the female body with a beauty, strength, power and emotionality unparalleled by the lens of many of her male contemporaries. A great slice of pin-up history.
