I have to admit though, this team seems to be on the right track. Decor is gorgeous (shot of the outstanding dining area lantern game below), drinks are excellent, food was a bit hit or miss, but fine for a soft open. Service struggled just a bit, but again: soft open. Had a lapu lapu (shown below; as good as ever), and a mai tai (excellent). The souvenir glass is quite nice, shown here holding a Sunday evening mai tai by yours truly. Anyway, definitely worth checking out if you’ve been disappointed with the direction in the last few years. Seems like they are listening.
