Well, I started on my piece tonight, but I'm not very happy with it.
I used a block of speedy carve, and it's really too soft the type of detail needed to carve the subject. (Also, I don't have any tracing paper, so I used a piece of tissue paper.) Anyway, I'm descending the mountain Thursday afternoon for a three-day weekend roadtrip, so I might as well stop at a hobby store and get some proper supplies. |
