Hi gang

Trader Vic’s in Chicago has been running a special every Wednesday night to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Trader Vic’s chain, and the 60th anniversary of the invention of the Mai Tai.

On the 31st of March, there will be a book signing by what BigBro has modestly dubbed the “Three Wise-Men of Tiki” at Trader Vic’s in Chicago.

James Teitelbaum (Tiki Road Trip), Sven Kirsten (Book of Tiki), and Duke Carter (Tiki Quest) will be on hand to disseminate our fine literature and quaff Mai Tais in celebration of Mr. Victor Jules Bergeron’s two finest achievements: Trader Vic’s restaurants and their signature beverage: the Mai Tai!

For those that want to check out the Wednesday night celebrations in the mean time, here are the details:

Wednesday, March 17th
Wednesday, March 24th
Wednesday, March 31st

Time: 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Location: Trader Vic's Luau room (Chicago)

It is unclear at the moment if people just showing up for the book signing will have to pay the $20 cover (hopefully not); we'll keep you posted as to the details on that.
