Part 4: the carving of the clay begins. I started the sculpt on 9/2/22. It took 28 days to finish. Here are some of the first steps. It is harder to copy someone's work than it is to invent your own. I have to be careful so that if Joniece Frank were alive today she would be happy with this mug. She and I had a lot of fun together with Gecko.
