It was too large for the space and there wouldn’t have been sufficient clearance to operate the dual door system. Apparently my math and design skills decline proportionally to the amount of Rum I drink……So, back to the drawing board and I made a smaller bookcase outer box. Once I got the tolerances and motion down it was time to install and stain the speakeasy doors to match. Once stained it was time for detail work and test the operation weighted with books. It works….
