Identifying home tiki bar help Japan 50’s - General Tiki

I was wondering if anyone on here might be able to help me learn about my new tiki bar and couch set. It has no markings but the grandson said his grandparents had it in Japan when he was posted there in the 40’s/50’s with unit VC-1. It became the squadron hangout. The grandson thinks it might have been made in Japan. Here are a few pics. Any help so much appreciated. New to this world but already love it!
