I did a search and didn't find anything so I started this. About 15 years ago, I got this at the flea market from a WWII veteran who told me he brought it back. He marked it in pencil on the feet:

9 13 44 Noumea New Caledonia

Not the usual kind of tiki we like but New Caledonia is in the South Pacific. Anyone have one like it or from there?
