Hello all, I have slowly developed an itch for Tiki over the last couple of years and decided this summer to take the plunge. My home is not my own so I can’t take a room and make it all Tiki. However, I decided to make a bar to fit the sitting area attached to my kitchen. After visiting the "Inferno Room" and "Max's" I was inspired to create a design. Hopefully these posts will give you some idea of how it progressed.

The base cabinets were unfished from Home Depot stained in ebony. I attached the decorative pieces to these. The upper shelves are all made from scratch. Pine boards with routed designs. I finished them by staining in ebony, sanding the high spots and then staining again in red maple. The shelves are made from old barn siding. designdry fitdesignbase cabinets
