Hi! I just started my journey this past 2 weeks. I've made a lot of progress so far but not anywhere close to being done. It's definitely a labor of love! When I bought my house, I knew this corner of the basement would be just right for a bar space. Then I decided to go all in on Tiki!

First, I picked up this vintage bar and chairs that fit perfectly in the space. The chairs are either going to need replaced or a lot of TLC.

I decided I wanted some kind of fun wallpaper and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I have some lines and mistakes, but I figure when its dark and everyone has a drink in their hand who cares! Unfortunately, the wall texture is making it peel off and I've had to reapply some adhesive.

Also picked up a few items from the thrift/antique stores.

This past weekend was busy where I got 2 masks, an ice maker, 2 extra chairs, and 3 nesting rattan/bamboo tables scattered through the area. And a color changing bulb in the lamp.

Note the "bar sign." I'm a huge survivor fan so I took some artistic liberties (stolen). The name was probably my first idea but needs more work.

I love the atmosphere so far and excited to keep working.

My current To-Do List:
*Lauhala/Bamboo on last wall
*Some kind of burlap/canvas on the ceiling
*Room divider to make the entrance more hidden
*Mini Fridge
*More Decorations!
*Menu (Signature drink will be the "Shainkiller" = A stronger Painkiller)
*Drink!

I'm happy to accept helpful critique. Still a work in progress and learning a lot! Thanks for reading!
