Looks like the Kon-Tiki's days are numbered thanks to numerous break-ins, police indifference, and bureaucratic nincompoopery. They're not going quietly though, as this angry, profane Instagram post by owner Christ Aivaliotis attests:

Having lived, worked, and played in the Bay Area on and off for many years, it's truly sad to see how bad things have gotten in the last 5 years. I hope it can be turned around.
