I'm a little late to the conversation.... but thought I'd post these great aerials I found of the resort in 1983, at this time it was known as the Lake Valley Inn. The theme of the resort had been changed to an alpine ski lodge by Vladimir Sarcevich when he purchased it in 1976, but the Polynesian-themed architecture is clearly still prevalent nearly 25 years later in these photos.
