It was de-Tikified sometime in the 80s or 90s, I can remember going there very young to see "The Empire Strikes Back" and it was a magical place for a young lad, then again in the later 90s with a girl I was dating in college and all of the magic was gone... it was 'just' a movie theatre. It is interesting how many things had "Mai Kai" in the name. At the end of this month, Chin's in Livonia is closing as well. I wish I'd gone there, but to be honest I thought it was already closed a while back. Submitted Respectfully, jason
