Michael Stegemann had a desire so strong for a Munktiki mug that he bought one that was broken bases on the fact I would help him out and repair it. Here's how it went.

It arrived. I assessed the damage to each antler and found a small chip at the base. I sprayed water on the areas needing putty to slow down the drying process.

Elmer's wood filler is the best product for repairing ceramics.

I used fine grain sandpaper, a label scrapper and a diamond file. The excess glue from the repair needed heavy duty sanding to get it flat. If you glue always wipe off the excess.
