Is it better than the LED flicker bulbs? As for which is better, that depends on what you need them for. These are best where you have an exposed bulb and want a candle flame effect. They cast very little light. If you're building an opaque/translucent light, or have a sconce where you want indirect flame effects, then the LED flame bulbs are your go-to. They are MUCH brighter but not as impressive if not contained within some diffusion material to help sell the illusion. Does that make sense?
