Here's a signature from a signed autograph book from 1941.

The seller has listing of other autographs from the same book which are all 30s/40s celebs (theater actors, ballroom dancers, etc.). A few were labeled as having been taken in the midwest so I presume this signature was gotten at the Chicago DTB. I also imagine it's real as it looks like it was gotten in person from the man himself.
