Tips for First-Time Tiki-a-Go-Go attendees!

Headed to Tiki-a-Go-Go for the first time? Here are a few pro-tips to help you make the most of your weekend:

1.Plan Your Adventure: Check the schedule ahead of time. Some symposiums fill fast, have a few picked out each day that are your “must-sees.”

  1. Stay Hydrated (With Water Too!): Between cocktails, workshops, and dancing to the bands, don’t forget to sip some H₂O!

  2. Bring Your Camera (or charge your phone!): Not only are there fun photo ops but you'll want pics of all the bands, presenters and your new friends.

  3. Pack a Tote or Extra Bag: Our Retro Tiki Marketplace is dangerously good. Leave room in your suitcase for all your treasures.

  4. Arrive Early for Popular Sessions: If something is high on your list, get there 10–15 minutes ahead, especially presentations.

  5. Say Aloha to Someone New: You’re surrounded by tikiphiles, artists, adventurers, and collectors. The community is the magic. We love it when someone says " I met them at Tiki-a-Go-Go!"

  6. Try Something New: A cocktail you’ve never had, a presentation topic that’s outside your normal interests, surprise yourself.

  7. Dress the Part: Aloha wear, vintage, mid-century, themed outfits… this is your chance to wear THAT outfit.

  8. Don’t Miss the Nights: The Ballroom turns into the concert hall and the villas become themed room parties after dark different vibe, different energy, all unforgettable.

10.Relax and Have Fun: Your weekend is meant to transport you. Lean in, explore, and enjoy the ride.
