This bar has a cute 'origin' story that is carried through the drink menu. It's located in a redeveloped center with other bars and restaurants. Parking is limited, so come early. Decor features familiar tiki tropes and the layout includes a semi-private corner next to the front entrance with a peacock chair and fun furnishings. Seating is a bit awkward with a row of booths down the middle of the room and another row along the wall; there are also two small tables in the back. The drink menu is virtual by QR code, but know what you want as the staff are pretty zoned into producing what's listed and not as helpful about making suggestions. Drinks are respectable versions of typical tiki drinks, though we noted the swizzles were from Dollar Tree (?!) We felt sorry for the lone bartender who was jumping through his butt to handle an increasing number of customers while staying calm and friendly. There's even a 'bar dog', Grizzly Bear, a sweet chocolate lab who made sure to introduce himself to each new patron who visited. I would rate this bar 8 out of 10. Worth a second visit, but I wouldn't make this a destination.
