I do think it's funny that blurb above calls it a "vase like mug", considering many of my thrift store mug finds are in their "vase and pots" sections.

I often imagine the shelvers at Goodwill treating such items like a cargo-cult would have... trying their best to make sense of an item that just does not compute.
