Very different. The cheap stuff looked like green plastic party streamers from 10 feet away. No color variation, no texture. Worse, it didn't lay flat – it stuck out at weird angles and looked obviously fake. What I learned: You need multi-color fibers (browns, tans, some greenish) and a weave that actually drapes.
