Very Beginner Tiki Question - Trying to Discern Real Witco Pieces - Collecting Tiki

I do know that Witco never really 'marked' their pieces which would help identify them, although the type of hooks to hang them can generally help identify them. Having said that, i found a couple of pieces years ago i was led to believe were Witco because of the hooks used, but was then informed by a family member that they were made by a former employee who went off on their own making similarly styled work, so what may be, might not be.
