That was my mom. She's gone now but regarding someone's post about the tiki being in Maui, I doubt it. She flew into Honolulu and only had a day so I doubt she ever went to Maui. Plus that was a publicity shoot for Boeing magazine, so I am sure they never left Waikiki. Back then, according to her there were just three hotels. The Royal Hawaiian, The Moana Surfrider, and the Hali ku Lani. The tiki shown was probably in that vacinity |
