What would we have missed if Disney and his artists hadn't borrowed from Polynesia to create the tiki room?... and ditto for the whole American tiki movement!

Everyone is influenced by everything. Has anyone heard the quote, 'nothing is truly original'?

I don't think you can compare what Lars is doing to what Disney did with the enchanted tiki room. Lars is ripping off an artist that is still painting and living.

True everyone is influenced by everything. It's very hard to have an original idea and most people never will.
