I thrifted an unusual light this past week ($12) The top and bottom ends have short segments of bamboo, with light bulb fixtures secured in them. The middle section is made entirely of fabric, painted with some tapa-like designs. You hang the upper end up, and the bottom bamboo piece stretches the cloth out via gravity. I purchased two green bulbs (from the Dollar Tree!) to give some accent color.
