I don't really know much about the imitators. I was totally blown away that the clock I painted went for $100.00. Check the "completed items" on the Ebay search. It will give you an Idea of what's out there and what it is selling for. When it comes to reselling stuff on Ebay, it's kind of a roll of the dice. I see clocks like this all the time so if you think the asking price is too high I know you'll see another soon. Also if the clock wont run you can change out the clockworks.
