i hate popcorn ceilings. they look ugly, you cant paint them, and the "kernals" come off easly when i hit my head on the ceiling from bouncing on the bed. The house I bought has trowed (sp) & acoustic tile ceilings. And any future house I buy. Personally I think popcorn ceilings are a fast cheap way to finish the job.
