Hah! I havn't heard that song in ages. It's off the Martin Mull (& his fabulous furniture) album "Normal". Came out in about 1972. This song is Mull's take on "the white man's blues" growin' up on the Ohio River delta. My favorite song on that record is "Drunkards Waltz" (which as I recall...I danced to on my 30th birthday).
