Rewiring Old Patio Lights - Beyond Tiki

My first thought was to just buy a new cord, but I can't seem to find the correct size & style. I'm looking for size C7, 2ft spacing between lamps, 7 lamps per string, linkable. Seeing as how that's what most novelty lights are, I thought I'd find 'em no problem, but not even Cheezylights.com has the correct "blanks" (they only have 1ft. spacing) I'd make my own if I could find the parts. Any ideas? I suppose I could just buy the Tiki or Bamboo patio lights and just switch out the covers, but it seems like a waste. -Z
