i picked up that "Magic Islands Revisited" (w/ Alex Stordahl) today and it is pretty damn splendid... while scouring my local high end record store here in LA i found 2 copies of Lotus Land...if anyone wants one i can give you the contact info to the place that has them on the shelf...it's so worth getting...gene rains first record and it's nice! so if rains first made it onto wax in 59 then when was M Denny's first record date...anybody know off the top of their head? |
