This is somebody I had never heard of until I read this obituary - but what an interesting life this musician led. Tau Moe was a steel guitarist, who met Hitler (and helped over 100 jews escape), lived in Iraq, helped introduce the steel guitar to India, and played Hawaiian music all over the world. http://starbulletin.com/2004/06/26/news/story4.html Vern |
