Paul is dead

Have you ever heard the rumor of Paul Mc Cartney's dead ??
If really like that story, and since I read about it, I don't see the Beatles covers as before...

There's a really fun book on this,and I have it,but can't locate it right now-talking about all the death clues.It's quite eye opening,and very cleverly done.

Thanks for pointing this website out. When I first saw your post, I thought, "old news... 28if... Turn me on dead man... heard it all before". Then I got to reading the site from start to finish. Made me wish I had my albums here in front of me at work.

All I had ever heard about this topic was from old friends of mine passing along the rumours. This site goes into a lot more detail (or more BS depending on how you want to look at it). Very fun site. I think I might need to pick up that book.

The rumor that Paul McCartney was dead was outed to a wide audience by a DJ named Roby Yonge on the legendary station WABC in October 1969. Please go to

and scroll down to the 1969 section. Roby Yonge's infamous braodcast of the 'Paul is Dead' theory is here for you to listen to. It's pretty amazing. WABC was (for those of you non-New York area people) a fast paced Top 40 station in the 60s and 70s that didn't allow their DJs to ramble on like Roby did that night which got him fired on the spot.
