I stumbled upon the 1952 movie classic "Blackbeard the Pirate" on TV a few months ago and am thoroughly convinced that this movie is soley responsible for cementing the utterance "ARRRRR" into everyone's pirate vocabulary. If anyone feels up to taking on an "extra credit" project, I would really be interested in knowing how many times the man who played Blackbeard said "ARRRRR" in this movie as a punctuation to nearly every line! Of course Blackbeard was a real pirate who terrorized the Carribean waters in the late 1600's / early 1700's. His flagship "Queen Anne's Revenge" was discovered in the Beaufort Inlet in N. Carolina (shipwreck# 0003BUI). |

In the X box game "Pirates, the legend of Black Kat" There is an entire photo album of conceptual art used for the game that you can check out at any time. The art work is killer! And there are some really cool pics to see. See my post about the game here: http://www.tikicentral.com/viewtopic.php?topic=792&forum=1&start=60&65 Hey 8ft, I relly like those skelly pirate paintings. They gave me a great idea for a Ships wheel frame I have had laying around. Chongolio P.S. What is a pirates favorite kind of pie? ...........rhub-ARRRRRR-b -- I believe that our Heavenly Father invented the monkey because he was disappointed in man."
