I guess if you look at him just right, Sven could be a good Brock Samson. Although I don't think you're going to get Sven to get a mullet with a perm.

So much for my lame attempt at humor. I thought my question was so ludicrous that it couldn't possibly be seen as serious.

Nevertheless, thank you Freddie for stepping in to offer a helping hand.

By the way, did you know that Otto has a fan club? Check it out here.

Yep, irony has a tough time making it through the keyboard. Having fallen flat on a "Who's Victor Bergeron?" comment once, I had to break my vow to never use emoticons. Now I add the  whenever being remotely sarcastic or ironic.

Well, I couldn't find a picture of him on TC, but I nominate to this thread:

BONGOFURY

LORNE MICHAELS!

Here is a pic of Bongofury (aka: Lorne Michaels) at the opening of the Rincon Room earlier this year.

The big question is when will the Venture Bros. have a tiki episode?

F
freddiefreelance posted on 10/05/2004

We should start a "Have your picture taken with a Star Look-Alike!" company with all this talent. Who wouldn't want their picture taken with Lorne Michaels? Can Pablus do that Dr. Evil voice, too?

I LOVE SAMANTHA BEE! not as much as I love Stephen Colbert, but hey, I'd rather be seperated at birth with her, than him :)

hee hee, that picture pretty much sums up why I advocate eloping!

(that picture was taken about 10 minutes after I married Tiki-Bot at the Tiki Oasis in Palm Springs!)

PS - Thanks Freddie!

Rather than post these on the "un-tiki" thread and fuel the fire, I thought I'd post this here. Recently someone solicited me with these tiki items:

but I instantly thought they looked like Creepy Clowns, ala Insane Clown Posse

Only a note here to freddiefreelance....I notice you have the same issue with your camera as I do. Hair highlights turn out as out-of-control resolution effects. What is up with that?? Can anyone help?

Any similiarities between California beachcombers and African lion keepers?

Bamboo Ben

George Adamson - known as 'The Father of Lions', the main figure behind the 'Born Free' book and movie (and Elsa the Lion), and the man who helped Christian the Lion transition from a young lion cub raised in London to the wild in Kenya

The similarities are more striking in the following video, particularly around the 4:45 mark (showing the last reunion between those two Aussie guys and Christian the Lion)

Here is a link to a whole bunch of George Adamson photos.

and in case you haven't seen it, here is the reunion video that touched millions
