Very nice work lets see more! You said you were going to cover it. On the TV show Monster House, they carve foam and spray a coating on it to make it permanent and weather resistant.

I'm a young astist that resently found a strong love for tikis. If you watch motorcycle shows they crave seats using a electric turkey craving knife.
I don't think that you were about this exactlt but you gave me an idea. I think that best ideas come through a misunderstanding.
take the candle mold and spray in the expanding yellow faom. It should take the shape perfectly. then you can have a string of easy to make moai heads. i THINK THAT IS A brand NEW IDEA. I got it from you and you got it from me, Jordan (teaKEY)

Nice work, that foma is messy stuff.

I've done some sign making using foam and blocking what I want left in place with old house paint applied to the foam.

THen sprizing carburator cleaner on the foam you wish eliminated.

In'ts no very exact, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly.

The finish looks really rock-like(when pained)...but it's crap fop the environment.

Christiki has one just like this - very cool looking!!

Perhaps these might make cutting your foam easier, and safer.

Use 3m Super 77 Adhesive, you can get this at home depot if you live in the states, works great with foam

I thought of an interesting application for styrofoam tikis. You could make childrens pool toys out of them and cover them with a stretchy fabric like lycra.

Another idea would be tiki ice chests...something where the alcohol (what else are ice chests for) goes in the mouth. I can't sketch it now as I have a class in a few minutes, but I'm thinking of the tiki laying down and his mouth wide open.

I'm not a carver, so thought I would pass on the inspiration.

try Liquid Nails to hold your foam panels together. I haven't tried it yet, but have been reading foam carver websites that say that Liquid Nails is the best adhesive for the foam.

get it at Home Depot in a caulking gun tube.

I can vouch for liquid nails. I using it for a project I'm creating. If you use a 4x8 sheet of styrofoam, you'll need two tubes of it.
