What is the best way to dry or cure freshly cut sabal palms. I am limited on garage space, but since I live in central Florida the Weather sould be warm and sunny enough outside. I cover them to keep the rain off, but also let the breath.

Thanks in Advance

B

You don't need to cure the Cabbage palm. Carve it fresh and let it cure on its own later with no ill effects.

F

Thanks because I was about ready to carve on one any how and test the effect. ps. What do your carved heads usually sell for?

My heads are expensive but worth more. good luck with your carving and share it with us during the project. It's nice to seethe different stages of a carving.

Thanks for the response. I live in Palm City and I am greatly impressed with your carving as well as your input into the forum community.
