Curing cabbage palms

What is the best way to dry or cure freshly cut sabal palms. I am limited on garage space, but since I live in central Florida the Weather sould be warm and sunny enough outside. I cover them to keep the rain off, but also let the breath. Thanks in Advance |

You don't need to cure the Cabbage palm. Carve it fresh and let it cure on its own later with no ill effects. |

Thanks because I was about ready to carve on one any how and test the effect. ps. What do your carved heads usually sell for? |

My heads are expensive but worth more. good luck with your carving and share it with us during the project. It's nice to seethe different stages of a carving. |
