Tiki Crawl 5: DJs wanted

Do you think you have what it takes to entertain the Tiki Crawl crowd?

For the upcoming San Francisco Tiki Crawl 5, we're looking for a few good Tiki DJs. One of the bars on the crawl has offered up to us the use of their sound system, and we're looking to fill it with exotic sounds DJed by our own members.

Qualifications:

• experienced with DJing using turntables
• be available on April 2nd for the Crawl
• have a wide assortment of Exotica, surf, or otherwise "tiki" music that you can bring with you

If interested, please contact me and include a bit about your music collection and your experience level. Your contributions will not go unnoticed!

Remember, this is live DJing at one of the bars on the crawl, not compiling a mix tape for playback.

They do have a CD player, but think vinyl, people, vinyl.

And try to keep it as up tempo as you can while still being...exotic!

Let's get as many DJs onboard as want to do it.

Give each a one hour slot
that way they don't have to have a crate of records just a bag

IF we end up having more DJs than time I would be glad to cede my spot
