A new exclusive group is forming...do you qualify?
This group will discuss the finer aspects of pie and the history of pie, compile and share a list of "secret" locations that have the best pie, and trade pies and pie recipes.
You must be able to recite, in toto and without error, the Special Radio Episode "The Pie" from Cat Town to be considered for membership. Ability to imitate the voices is a plus.

Amateurs!

I lured mr. pineapple to marriage with my key lime pie. One bite and it was all over.
I also do apple, peach and other seasonal fruit. But Key Lime is my speciality.

The key to flaky crust is frozen crisco! My granma taught me! (although, for the KLP, I use a graham cracker crust)

I'll make a pie to submit for membership in this exclusive club.

I don't need to think it over, I'll give you my answer right now... the answer is no ... NO!

You sit around here and spin your little crusts and you think the whole world revolves around pie. Well I got news for you: it doesn't!

And that goes for YOU too.

WTF!?!

There's secret pie society and this is the first I hear of it? Can someone send me an unsolicited email about these things, I cannot keep up with all the goings on (going ons?) around these parts.

One question, err, ummm, well, there's none of those "type" allowed, are there? You know, uhh, that sort of folk, those kind... that like cheese on their pie. No cheese-ers!

Not that there's anything wrong with them, I have some "pie with cheese" friends. I just don't want to, ya know, "mix" with them.

Here's a great location for our Secret Pie meetings that are so secret that we cannot reveal the schedule, even to ourselves! None other than the House of Pies coffee shop!

Already adorned with a palm tree, and tropical plants!

There used to be a chain of these in SoCal, and they had orange and pink decor, and as I recall, they were always in cute little A-frame buidlings, thus the tiki connection to PIE.

J

The first rule about Pie Club is that you DON'T TALK ABOUT PIE CLUB!

But... since you've already talked about Pie Club, will there be events? Maybe a Pie eating contests? We could call it "puk-ilau."
