Name our new Showroom and win a mug!

Pages: 1 2 48 replies

This weekend we are opening our Showroom here in London and have overlooked one thing ... it doesn't have a name and we have some press going out tomorrow (noon GMT)that we need one for.
At the present we have no pics but the whole place is done out like the inside of a hut so we think the name should be along the lines of "The .......... Hut"
As an Incentive, as if one was ever needed when it comes to these things, we will give the person who comes up with our favourite name one of our mugs that are coming out in a few weeks.
Just in case you are wondering, here's a sneak preview of one of the mug prototypes, it's called the 'Britiki' and will be available in Brown,Green and a ltd Edition of 100 with the Union Jack hand painted with our own fair hands.

Get to it guys there isn't much time!

I will start it off with: Her Majesty's Hut
ok--now things can only get better! :)

The Jungle Hut

The Tiki Hut

oh well, I tried

Why not the Britiki hut?

thatcher's hut

Although the Foggy Grotto is the name of one of our own's former bars, I think it would be fantastic for a UK tiki bar.

I'm using the Huki Lounge for my home bar, but I can share!

How about "The Cheeky Hut"

Not many people would know this, but here in Florida the Seminole Indians make huts with palm thatched roofs called "Chickee" huts that resemble the roof of most outdoor tiki bars. Many Seminoles live in these huts. In fact, the Seminole word for house is "Chickee."

The huts look like this:

So... since your TC name is Cheeky and a Chickee Hut looks just like a Tiki hut, name it the "Cheeky" hut or the "Cheeky Tiki Hut"

The Paka ua Hut - Hawaiian for raindrop...

I always here about the bad weather (i.e., rain and fog) in the UK, so I thought these might be appropriate.
