Nice Pin!!! Try your imaculate talent towards a pine log!!! You can do it!!!

A great idea, a very cool carving imo.

AHHH, now somebody needs to resurrect a dead bowling alley and put this on display, (with the other 9 you will carve).

Welcome to TC!

You also have some nice looking tikis on your website. Cool tiki.

Yes, great website. I like the "flamed tiki" and the "surfer tiki" the best, I think. Welcome aboard, Al. Stick around.

A-A

Very cool stuff , Please share more.
And welcome to TikiCentral.

B

He's a pretty cool guy Al. I'll bet the wood was extreemly hard to carve though. You defenately have some Nice tikis on your website. We need MORE Pic's of your work, more..Thanks

I like the idea of Bowling Pin Tikis, but where're the other 9?

Looking at my handful of old matchbooks from Tiki bowling alleys (yeah, there were quite a few), I can't believe no one thought of this concept for a logo. Very creative. I like it lots.

Sabu

al, that turtle is AWESOME! I'm sure that your show went over very well - all those pieces that you shared are excellent.

Switzerland is in da house!

Great to see you back Al . I love the monsters , especially the eye. Reminds of the flying eye by Von Dutch

On a side note , I hope you and your family and friends are safe. I saw on the news about the flooding in parts of Switzerland

Al, they're awesome. If I had to pick, the turtle is my favorite of the bunch. But then Fez-Eye and Mr. Kool are looking pretty swell too. Hope the show went well - I'm sure it did.

Beautiful work Al!

Nice man! Does she play?

That gee-tar rocks! They should make those for real, I could see that design for a bass guitar too.
What kind of wood was she?
I really like the dark tones too. Is that a reproduced neck, or pulled from the other uke?

Nice work on both pieces!

How did you get the distressed look on the striping on the brush piece?

AT

Hello,

I have made everything on the Uke except the tuners i have take it from an old
classic guitar.

The wood is lime tree im a not sure about the english name in french it's Tilleul
it's a white wood and very easyer to carve and the varnish is Teck color
i have put 3 coat of paint

For the pinstriping i have used steel wool pads on oneshot paint there does not need
to support extremely

See you.

Al's

Oops sorry hewey,

the uke does not play you can tune it but we d'ont have resonator
maybe with a guitar pickups like a electric guitar
