Ginger as a mixer

I was checking back over some of Trader Woody's remarks about Stone's Ginger Wine and Dark Rum.

Has anybody else tried using this stuff in drinks? It's like Ginger Ale only BIG.

I've got a little bottle of ginger syrup I use for various drinks, it's similar to honey and comes in a honey bear.

I have used Stone's Ginger Wine in cocktails when I was down in the VIs. Good stuff. Back here at home I keep a bottle of ginger brandy on hand usually. Also great in drinks. Try a singapore sling with ginger brandy instead of cherry brandy.
