*Uranium PU-36 Explosive Space Modulator - The name of the space weapon component that cartoon character Bugs Bunny (playing an astronaut) grabbed from Marvin the Martian in the animated feature short Haredevil Hare (1948). Marvin the Martian, a.k.a. Commander X-23 carried an ACME disintegrator ray hand gun and wanted to use the "PU-36" device to blow up Earth because it blocked his view of Venus. TRIVIA NOTE: The original reference to "Uranium PU-36" changed to Illudium PU-36 in subsequent cartoons. Some people mistake the sound of "PU" for a "Q" and say "Q-36." However, the weapon's name is derived from the letters "PU" which coincidentally is the atomic symbol for Plutonium (named for the planet Pluto).

I just want to say that your response really had Chongo & me chucking for quite a while!

However, I'd like to add that it was really difficult to pick a winner - a lot of other responses had us chuckling too. It was really fun going through every response, and there were a handful of very close seconds.
