General Tiki

Ever since this TC Index name got changed I am reminded of "General Boy", the nerdy commander of Booji-Boy from the groundbreaking DEVO music videos/films (played by the Mothersbaughs's dad I think).

How about creating a figure named
"GENERAL TIKI -always fighting GENERIC TIKI!"

Hmmm...maybe a little too much wordplay. And also, war imagery is sort of a sore point in America these days, rightly so...

It still sounds like a good idea to me!!

I like it. "General tiki" - an officer situated in Hawaii in WWII perhaps? The nostalgia aspect might take some of the sting out of the negative military connotations? Make it light-hearted like the old period pics of officers on shore leave, hangin with the locals.

The General Tiki was one of the bamboo cars Gilligan drove around that island. Kinda like the General Lee...
