The new Haole Cats CD "Lei'd Back" is "Highly Recommended." All the songs are vintage classics with "South Sea Lullabies" being my personal favorite. Who wrote this song anyway? The musicianship is top notch and the mixing and mastering process by Pablus is incredible. Great job you guys! Also, Josh, Joe and TJ and very very cool!! I can't to see you guys again at the Hukilau. Keep up the good work!! Jeff |

Mahalo to everyone for the words of encouragement. We hope everyone who has purchased any of our CD's enjoys the music as much as the folks who have posted feedback here. It's something we love to do, but knowing people enjoy our music makes it even mo' betta! Looking forward to meeting as many TC'ers as possible at HUKILAU...By that time, with a little luck and some creative scheduling, we'll have a new CD featuring Ukulele arrangements of some great Jazz/Swing standards. A few tunes likely to be included are: Take The A Train there are a bunch more, we just have to pick and choose....I'll be sure to keep ya'll updated. |

I got all 3 albums, and what a deal!! Have listened to all three and have to send my biggest YEEHAW. The two CD's packed with Hawaiian music are fantastic! I love the vocals and that Hawaiian steel guitar working with that outstanding bass line. Sunday morning, I cued up the Wholly Cats CD and read my morning paper and chilled out to the sound of that old time swing and jazz. Kept my foot taping the entire time! Thanks for making us the offer! Wish I was in SoCal to check out a live performance! Myke |

DA HAOLE KATS ARE OFF-DA-HOOK!!!!!!!!! met TJ, josh, and joe this weekend; some of the nicest, most down-to-earth, genuine people I've met this side of Okonkuluku....... And their tunes are mighty catchy as well. glad we got the chance to jam on some non-tiki stuff at Unga Bunga's party pad - that was real fun and well worth it. thanks for the discs; i'll be passing them along to the other waitiki dudes later this week ..... defintely check these guys out if you're down in Florida; if i could, i'd be there every week! a hui hou & aloha, |

Many, many BIG mahalos to all the folks who made our time in Fort Lauderdale at Hukilau 2005 such a wonderful experience! Thank you! Also, mahalo for buying our CD's! We really appreciate it, and hope that you enjoy the music as much as we did recording it. There's sooooooo much I want to say about Hukilau, but I'll post that on that thread. Such an amazing and fun time. Kanekila |

I'd just like to chime in that I recently ordered the three (so far) CDs from the Haole (& Wholly) Kats trio and I would recommend them highly to anyone who hasn't taken the plunge. The CDs are excellent, simply put. Fun and lighthearted material is performed just so, without veering into silliness or irreverence. More serene material is performed with ... well, serenity. These are narrow needles to thread and they do it well on CDs that just chug along very very pleasantly. Awesome work, guys, and looking forward to hearing more! |
