Tipsy, you have to be quite the mechanical engineer/artist/mechanic and all kinds of other stuff to build a grill like this. It looks like it will not only work well but last a long time. (the production model, not the prototype) My respect for just grew apst the ceiling. Well DOne...

as for the rest of you...I just posted more tiki items. this will be the last of it for awhile.....I got some hawaiian distillers drink mixes in tiki bottles, blue print copies of the original Mauna loa blueprints and more. thanks for taking the time to look....

That grill is awesome. I'm not sure that I'd want to use it for fear of messing it up. What a cool idea. Very nice.

I don't know if you caught my blurb on that wholesale tiki thread, so here it is again:
I was watching the 40 Year Old Virgin on dvd the other day & noticed a few of your lanterns scattered around in the background during one of the bar scenes.
Don't know if you knew or not. Is this old news?

thanks for the info- I saw the movie but don't recall the lamps....i've seen my work in a number of films and commercials from time to time.....someone once told me they saw my martini lamp in a porno, on an end table in the background.....

it was in the "I hope you have a big trunk, cuz I'm gonna put my bike in it" bar scene when he was all drunk.
