Sounds good. I miss the Mardi Gras partys in San Francisco that were everywhere and we are so close to Nola...I live in Pompano, work in Hollywood, I have some Tiki, good times and liquor to contribute

Can't tell what my work schedule will be like then, but otherwise I am very interested. I'm sure I can contribute in some fasion, even if its just in the planning stages. Keep us posted, cheif.

When will the actual event be? I'm headed to Miami for the International Boat Show this Feb. I used to be in a Krew in Tampa for Gasparilla, their nod to Mardi Gras. It was fun until some dude tried to pull my costume off me while I was in the parade. I told him, it's just plastic beads! My husband said I missed the point, he wanted to see something else. I now know to stay a little more than an arms length away from the barriers! I love to design costumes, and I made several for my Krew!

Maybe I can make it this year. We may live in Hawaii, but we plan to retire to North Carolina and sail the Carribean for the winters. It would be fun to have a fun reason to be in the area.

OOohh , We get into Ft lauderdale on the 24 and dont leave for the cruise until sunday the 26. This will definatly be something for us to check out.

OMG, If my comsi-comsa gig that day gets canned, I may be able to cheer y'all on from the sidelines.

UPDATE: Bummer. The gig is full speed ahead. Gonna have to miss being present in the audience again this year.
