Ok, not sure what topic this belongs in, but some time ago there was a vintage photo or post card that showed people sitting at a table in some tiki restaurant and one person at the table had a drink in a coconut and the coconut was resting on a cool looking holder. There was a brief discussion about the holder. Anyone remember that? I've been searching and searching for that picture, but I can't seem to find it.

Is this what you're thinking of?

It's a postcard from the Polynesian Village in Boston, Sabu posted it in its thread in Locating Tiki:

Humuhumu,
THATS THE ONE! Thanks! I've been racking my brain looking for that thread with the photo!!

Either one of those Women in the picture could easily be the witch lady on the bicycle from the Wizard of Oz, yikes!
Nice coconut holder! Tiki restaraunts decided that coconuts didn't need support, those hippies! Then they started making fake coconuts out of silicon and saline... er...I mean ceramics, like it's all about the perfect coconuts...

Also check this thread that I posted in 2004

And yes - she does look like that witch!
