Ive never see heard of this before - 1977 expedition on can-tiki - a raft made of beer cans :) Darwin to Singapore

Thanks for this info. I have recently started searching for anything on the web re: Can-tiki. We were living in Darwin post cyclone Tracy and my dad actually helped build the can-tiki and although didn't get to sail on the voyage, flew to Singapore for the arrival.

Although memories are a bit hazy, I di spend some time playing around the yard as it evolved and I have some newspaper clippings, photo's and stuff if anyone is interested.

If you (or anyone) has any more info. links, references or memorabilia from the cantiki expedition I would love to hear from you.
