Hey Turbo! Bosko's last "Bob Tribute" was closer to the original, but long sold out. Had a chance for that one and just hesitated too long...missed out in the end. Saw one at Taboo Cove though, "Turn down that shi**y music!"...sorry, reflex action. midnite |

Thanks, Turbogod. I just ordered one as well, and I'd think the item with be OOS soon with a production run of only 40. |

That first version was actually very cheap for a week or two, then shot up in price. I kicked myself for not buying it at the cheap rate when it became more expensive, then kicked myself again for not buying it at the higher price when it sold out. Selah! Now the postage cost to the UK from Bosko is absurd as they have opted out of using the US postal service & use an international courier. (The new mug would cost about $130 once postage & tax is added...bloody hell) Roll on a faithful version by Tiki Farm! Trader Woody |

Perhaps "jugs" would be appropriate? Then you could say, "nice jugs!" Or maybe, "wow, those jugs are huge!" Sorry, couldn't help myself! Excuse my ignorance, Woody but who is Bob Dobb? Cheers, Arty [ Edited by: stentiki on 2003-02-18 16:49 ] |

Yep, it's that Bob Dobbs, (looking rather old and knackered these days judging by TurboGod's photo) from the Church of the Subgenius. Tiki Bob and "Bob" have the same ever-present, confident smile. Perhaps they are related? Trader Woody |

Tipsy Bob review: First, Bosko Inc. ships quickly and packages their items well. That's something I appreciate, seeing I do a decent amount of Ebay type bid-ness. Shipping costs are kept pretty low too. Kudos. As already stated, this mug is pretty large, much bigger than we'd expected, yet easy to hold in one hand given the "3-D nooks and crannies" nature of the design. Overall it is right in line with Bosko's past ceramic work. I always considered his stuff more "primitive" in design and structure. This is not to be construed as a negative, not at all. We got two "TB's". One is a bit lighter and both have a few differences here and there. The mug does have some handmade characteristics, again the "primitive" nature of his ceramics. We're quite pleased with the purchase, it appears to be Michelle's new personal mug. I wish Bosko would do more ceramics; I recall in previous years how much he had to offer. In conclusion: Typical Bosko ceramic in quality and design. A nice idea that was well executed, it has grown on me (as I was more partial to his first TB type mug). The price was a bit high, but it is a nice splurge given its limited production. midnite |

Just got mine in the mail at work today, and have only taken a quick look, but boy are they hefty! Will give more insight when I get them home and inspect more thoroughly. One was #20, don't know the other # yet. What # did everyone else get? |

We received numbers 18 & 19, but Bosko mistakenly placed the card for #17 inside of #19. My belief is this error will only increase its value! Sorta bummed though, we'd hoped for numbers 8 and 22. Those are our favorite Chinese food dishes. Still cannot fathom Krista picking that lame poetry dude. midnite |
